Assist Clients with Medication

At the successful completion of this unit, you will receive a nationally recognised HLTHPS006 – Assist clients with medication Statement of attainment under the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Occupational titles may include;

• Assistant in Nursing
• Care Service Employee
• Aged Care Worker
• Home Care Assistant
• Personal Care Assistant
• Personal Care Assistant with endorsements
• Enrolled Nurse
• Community Service Coordinator
• Registered Nurse

You will be required to complete work placement in a health service environment. Alpine Institute will organise placement within Alpine Health or other Health Services. Placement will commence following successful completion of all assessment requirements.
